Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Does he agree with Ministry of Health report Evidence Synthesis of the Research on Suicide Prevention and Postvention: Aotearoa New Zealand and International Perspectives (June 2023) that we need a national workforce development plan with core competencies, minimum standards for curriculum development for undergraduate and post qualification training; if so, what, if anything, will he do to address this?
