Hon Judith Collins: In respect of officials under the Space portfolio, there have been three meetings: • During my travel to Colorado Springs for the Space Symposium, the Head of the New Zealand Space Agency accompanied me to a meeting with General Chance Saltzman, Chief of Space Operations of the United States Space Force, on 10 April 2024. • Space officials participated in a virtual meeting with US Space Systems Command on 23 May 2024. • The MBIE Counsellor for science and space met with the Space Force’s foreign policy advisor at the New Zealand Embassy in Washington DC on 25 June 2024.
