43668 (2025). Kahurangi Carter to the Minister of Police: Are police still undertaking aerial cannabis eradication operations, if so, how many operations have been undertaken since 2022 broken down by year, individual operation and cost?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Police continue to undertake aerial cannabis eradication operations under Operation Emerald. This is an annual campaign conducted over the Christmas period. I refer the Member to the below table which provides the total cost associated with each year’s campaign between 2022 and 2025.
