43637 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: What date will the National Gang Unit no longer be in the operational planning stage?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised by Police that this question cannot be answered at this time. A consultation period with staff that may be impacted by the National Gang Unit (NGU) establishment closed on 15 July 2024. Feedback received is currently being collated, which will impact when the NGU will no longer be in an operational planning stage.
