43632 (2024). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What is the most recent calculated benefit to cost ratio, if any, for the additional Mount Victoria tunnel project?

Hon Simeon Brown: I have not received an updated benefit cost ratio (BCR) for any of the projects currently under consideration in Wellington City. I have requested advice from NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, which I expect to receive later this year. I do not believe it would be in the public interest to release previously calculated BCRs which may no longer be accurate, as it may impact decision making and subsequent commercial processes.
