43631 (2025). Rachel Boyack to the Minister of Education: Has the Minister made any decisions regarding the future of dance as an academic subject, including within the framework of her proposed changes to secondary school qualifications; if so, what decisions were made?

Hon Erica Stanford: Yes, Dance will continue to be offered under the new senior secondary curriculum framework for Years 11–13. It remains part of the subject list for the New Zealand Curriculum.
