43605 (2024). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Finance: What is the status of the Treasury's baseline review work programme, and what agencies, if any, has the Treasury planned to review before Budget 2025?

Hon Nicola Willis: Treasury supports the Government to ensure baseline spending by agencies is well directed and delivers value for money, and they are focused on delivering this through the Government’s Fiscal Sustainability Programme. Savings and reprioritisation from baselines will be business-as-usual for all Ministers and agencies so that we can put the books back in order, and I expect Treasury to support me with advice on that.
