43600 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Education: How is the Government ensuring equitable access to early intervention learning support services for mokopuna Māori, if at all?

Hon Erica Stanford: All early learners, including mokopuna Māori, who are seeking early intervention support are able to apply for this service. The Ministry is working to increase access to learning supports and kaiako capability to meet the needs for mokopuna Māori in Kōhanga Reo through the initiative Hohoutia ko Tamaariki.
