43598 (2024). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Finance: What reprioritisation opportunities, if any, were identified in the March rapid review of the Ministry for Social Development?

Hon Nicola Willis: As I indicated at the Finance and Expenditure Committee during Scrutiny Week, the independent rapid reviews made a small number of recommendations for reprioritisation opportunities at Budget 2024, as well as further recommendations for implementation in the medium-to-long term (e.g., at Budget 2025 or future Budgets). The Government plans to continue work on these medium-to-long term recommendations in the coming months.
