43546 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Local Government: Has he asked his officials to consider the affordability of future water charges when his officials review councils’ Water Service Delivery plans and if so, how will they assess the affordability of those charges?

Hon Simon Watts: Officials at the Department of Internal Affairs are reviewing water services delivery plans in line with legislative requirements under the Local Government (Water Services Preliminary Arrangements) Act 2024.
