Hon Brooke van Velden: I refer the member to the attached table which shows a breakdown of the age and type of vehicle of the seven trucks currently assigned to Whanganui is in the attached table. I am advised by Fire and Emergency New Zealand that there are currently two appliances located at Whanganui Station that are more than 30 years old, including one that is temporarily replacing a 21-year-old aerial appliance that is normally stationed at Whanganui and is currently being repaired. There is normally one truck located at Whanganui that is more than 30 years old, which is used for back-up purposes.
