43502 (2025). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: How many Expressions of Interest of the Parent Resident Visa were submitted to the Ballot from 12/10/2022 to 31/7/2023?

Hon Erica Stanford: The change to a Parent Resident ballot was implemented by the previous Government when the member was the Associate Minister of Immigration. I am advised that from 12 October 2022 to 31 July 2023, 5,981 Expressions of Interest for the Parent Resident visa were submitted to the ballot.
