43498 (2025). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: How many Expressions of Interest of the Parent Resident Visa remain unselected that were submitted to the Ballot in June 2023, July 2023, August 2023, February 2025, March 2025, April 2025?

Hon Erica Stanford: The change to a Parent Resident ballot was implemented by the previous Government when the member was the Associate Minister of Immigration. EOIs are only valid for a period of two years from submission. After two years in the ballot any EOIs that remain unselected expire and a new EOI is required to be submitted for future ballots. I refer the Member to the attached document.
