43475 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: Will the Minister raise at the Pacific Islands Forum concerns about the “Sorong Four,” who were transferred from West Papua to Makassar, and associated arrests of protesters in Sorong, and if so why and if not, why not?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: No. The Prime Minister is representing New Zealand at the Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting. Leaders have a broad range of issues on the agenda, and we will not prejudice their discussions.
