43375 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: How many change processes have been initiated, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Penny Simmonds: These decisions are the responsibility of the relevant agency Chief Executive. I am advised that the Ministry of Education has taken a staggered approach to its change process during 27 November 2023 to 10 July 2024, with 12 consultation documents released to business groups as part of this approach. Education New Zealand have not initiated any change processes during this period of time. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 43374 (2024). In relation to the Tertiary Education Commission, I am advised three change processes were initiated between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024.
