43337 (2025). Hon Willie Jackson to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How many, if any, jobseekers were there on August 1st 2025; and how does that compare with how many, if any, jobseekers there were on August 30th 2025?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) that data for August 2025 is not yet available for reporting. MSD’s monthly reports are released on the MSD website from the second Friday of the month following. Monthly reports are available in the following link, which also contains a schedule for future releases: https://www.msd.govt.nz/about-msd-and-our-work/publications-resources/statistics/monthly-reporting/. Further detailed requests about specific data subsets are able to be searched and completed after the report for the relevant period is completed.
