43302 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: When will the around 500 of the 1,500 social housing places funded from Budget 2024 that are focused on maintaining momentum of social housing delivery and supporting the government’s emergency housing reduction target in the near term, be delivered and how many will be delivered before 30 June 2026?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development that all of the 500 Maintaining Momentum social housing places will be delivered before 30 June 2027 and that around 200 of these are currently expected to be delivered before 30 June 2026.
