43300 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Police: What was the remuneration, if any, broken down by board and title, for crown appointees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, in the 2024-25 financial year?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the only Crown appointed board members are the independent members of the Executive Governance Board overseeing the Next Generation Critical Communications (NGCC) programme. Their titles and associated remuneration are as follows: • Independent Chair: $1,000 for board preparation (1 day), and $500 per board meeting (up to half a day). • Independent Board Members (2 commercial specialists, 1 international specialist, 1 vacant): $800 for board preparation (1 day), and $400 per board meeting (up to half a day). The remaining board members are Emergency Services Chief Executives and Public Sector Representatives, who are members of the NGCC Board by virtue of their role and are not remunerated for board participation.
