43230 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Justice: Have there been any changes in policy or practice since 27 November 2023 relating to the granting of bail to individuals without a fixed residential address, if so, when did they occur and who authorised them?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Ministry is not aware of any changes in policy or practice relating to the granting of bail to individuals without a fixed residential address. Decisions regarding the granting of bail and any associated conditions are judicial matters and are determined solely by the Court.
