43190 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for the Public Service: How many vacant positions have been disestablished, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Nicola Willis: I am advised that the Public Service Commission (the Commission) does not operate with a fixed establishment count or cap on positions/jobs and vacancies. The Commission’s staffing is focused on meeting operational priorities within budgetary constraints.
