43187 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Justice: What alternative arrangements are available, if any, for individuals granted bail who do not have access to a private residential address?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that decisions regarding the granting of bail and any associated conditions are judicial matters and are determined solely by the Court. While the Court may impose conditions, it is the responsibility of the individual and/or their legal representation to provide alternative arrangements to the Court for consideration.
