43110 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for State Owned Enterprises: Has he received any advice from Airways New Zealand that the national air traffic control outage in August 2025 was caused by a software glitch from a vendor-supplied system, if so, when was that advice received, and what is the name of the vendor who supplied the system in question?

Hon Simeon Brown: As the Member will be aware, the cause of the error will be established through the Airways’ internal review. It would not be in the public interest for me to comment on this process at this stage.
