43070 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister of Housing: How many homes were contracted to an unspecified build partner at 30 June 2024 by Kāinga Ora and how is the delivery of those homes monitored if the builder is unspecified?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that releasing details on the delivery volumes of individual build partner is commercially sensitive, as it would disclose the market share of each developer. Kāinga Ora actively monitors these projects through its standard programme and project management processes, which track construction progress, key milestones, and completion regardless of whether the build partner is specified in the system. This is also my answer to WPQ 43071-80 (2025).
