43068 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister of Housing: What was the value of the homes that Kāinga Ora contracted to an unspecified build partner at 30 June 2024 and how much, if anything, was paid for those homes?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that information on the build partners they contract with is not centrally recorded. As a result, some contracts may show the build partner as “unspecified”. Kāinga Ora would need to investigate the original source files and reconcile these records to identify all the build partners currently listed as “unspecified”. In accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 210/6, I consider that the time and expense of answering this part of Member’s question is not in the public interest. This is also my reply to WPQ 43069 (2025).
