43060 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Housing: How many vacant positions have been disestablished, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Chris Bishop: These decisions are the responsibility of the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. I am advised that these decisions are still to be implemented. Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that approximately 400 vacant positions have been disestablished.
