43048 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Housing: How many voluntary redundancy processes have been initiated, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Chris Bishop: These decisions are the responsibility of the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. I am advised that the Ministry has initiated one voluntary redundancy process between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024. Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities advises me that employees in potentially impacted groups have been invited to apply for voluntary redundancy. These are being considered on a case-by-case basis with each change proposal.
