43018 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Housing: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many employees, if any, are set to lose their roles and are health and safety professionals, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Chris Bishop: These decisions are the responsibility of the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. I am advised that these decisions are still to be implemented. Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that five roles disestablished are for health and safety professionals. These roles were part of the Safety Support and Wellbeing team.
