42967 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for the Environment: How many vacant positions have been disestablished, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Penny Simmonds: In the last financial year, the Ministry for the Environment has implemented recruitment controls which have resulted in around 200 vacant roles being unfilled and removed from the organisations structure.
