42953 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for the Environment: How many voluntary redundancy processes have been initiated, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Penny Simmonds: The Ministry for the Environment have initiated two rounds of voluntary redundancies. The first round in May 2024 resulted in 45 staff taking this option. A second round of voluntary redundancies was opened in June 2024. By 10 July 2024, 48 staff have taken this option in the second round.
