42929 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Education: How many voluntary redundancy processes have been initiated, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Erica Stanford: The decisions are the responsibility of the relevant agency Chief Executive. I am advised that 110 voluntary redundancy processes were initiated at the Ministry of Education between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024. 12 voluntary redundancy processes were initiated at the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. There were no voluntary redundancy processes initiated at the Education Review Office.
