42922 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Economic Development: How many voluntary redundancy processes have been initiated, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Melissa Lee: I am advised that New Zealand Trade and Enterprise has not initiated any voluntary redundancy processes since November 2023 resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service. I am advised that the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment has initiated two voluntary redundancy processes. With regard to New Zealand Growth Capital Partners - I am advised no redundancy processes have been initiated.
