42912 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Defence: How many voluntary redundancy processes have been initiated, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Judith Collins: The Ministry of Defence has not initiated any voluntary redundancy processes. It is likely that the New Zealand Defence Force will have to reduce the civilian workforce, and will invite expressions of interest for voluntary redundancy from August.
