42839 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister of Health: What discussions, if any, has the Minister had with Health New Zealand about the impact on health inequities from any future reductions in hospice services in South Auckland?

Hon Simeon Brown: As the Member will be aware, I meet regularly with officials to discuss a wide range of topics, reflecting my focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare. A central record of these discussions is not kept, and I do not consider it to be in the public interest to divert staff from essential services to undertake a substantial collation exercise.
