42812 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Agriculture: How many voluntary redundancy processes have been initiated, if any, in each of the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Todd McClay: I am advised that as at 10 July 2024, and since 27 November 2023, the Ministry for Primary Industries has not initiated any all organisation wide voluntary redundancy processes. However, those staff directly affected by the ‘Improving our Efficiency’ change process were offered the opportunity to apply for voluntary redundancy and 70 people accepted this offer.
