42713 (2025). Reuben Davidson to the Minister for Media and Communications: Was Paul Henry approached and offered a place on the board of TVNZ, or did he apply/ express interest in the position; if so on what date?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I met Mr Henry informally as a local constituent on 8 March. In the course of that discussion, I asked if he was interested in being on the board. On 16 April, Treasury approach Mr Henry to confirm his interest.
