42685 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Prime Minister: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many employees, if any, are set to lose their roles and have a focus on mitigating climate change or its effects, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the Responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). There have been no employees who have lost or are set to lose their roles in the DPMC, arising from the Government’s fiscal sustainability programme that have a focus on mitigating climate change or its effects, as at 10 July 2024.
