Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many employees, if any, are set to lose their roles and have a focus on mitigating climate change or its effects, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand has not identified any employees who are set to lose their roles, that have a focus on mitigating climate change or its effects, between the dates outlined above. As for MBIE I refer the member to the Minister responsible for MBIE WPQ reply 42312 (2024).
