42662 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Local Government: What advice, if any, did the Public Service Commission provide on the propriety and independence of the appointments of Crown negotiators for regional deals?

Hon Simon Watts: The Crown negotiators are consultants engaged by the Department of Internal Affairs. Therefore, no Public Service Commission input was sought.
