42650 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Local Government: Does the Crown board fee framework apply to the remuneration of Crown negotiators for regional deals, and if so, will the cost increases be funded from existing departmental budgets, and if so, which services will be affected?

Hon Simon Watts: I refer the member to my response to written parliamentary question 42643 (2025). The funding for the Crown negotiators is from the Vote Internal Affairs 2025 budget. New funding was provided under the line Regional Deals Programme Implementation and Support.
