42637 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Local Government: Is there a cap on the total contract value per Crown negotiator for regional deals, and if so, what band does this fall into (e.g., under $100k, $100–250k, $250–500k)?

Hon Simon Watts: The Crown Negotiators are employed as consultants by the Department of Internal Affairs (the Department). Their remuneration and engagement terms are covered by the relevant procurement/contractual processes within the Department and are commercially sensitive.
