42582 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Trade: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many employees, if any, are set to lose their roles have a focus on working with Pāsefika, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Todd McClay: I refer the Member to the Minister of Foreign Affairs response to WPQ 42322 (2024). I am advised that New Zealand Trade and Enterprise provides services to export and investment customers. This can include customers that engage with Pāsefika businesses or communities and these businesses may employ people from the Pāsefika community, but NZTE does not collect this data.
