42478 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many employees, if any, are set to lose their roles have a focus on working with Pāsefika, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: The Ministry for Pacific Peoples is the Crown's principal advisor on policies and interventions aimed at improving outcomes for Pacific peoples in New Zealand, therefore all roles have a focus on working with Pāsefika. Please refer to WPQ 41870 for the total number of roles made redundant at the Ministry in its 2024 organisational change process.
