Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Minister of Conservation: Further to his reply to Question 33896 (2025), how many, if any, of the 1,160 permission applications that were pending at 28 February 2025 were less than one year old and how many of those have been approved, declined, withdrawn or are still pending?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises me that as of 28 February 2025 there were 855 applications on hand that were less than a year old (since their submission date). These are broken down as follows: Approved – 597 Declined – 13 Pending – 185 Returned – 2 Withdrawn – 58
