42414 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What is the current prioritisation status of Palmerston North Fire Station, for any proposed station upgrades or redevelopment?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by Fire and Emergency New Zealand that they have recently initiated a new property investment prioritisation process, to develop a comprehensive capital investment plan for their portfolio of over 640 stations and buildings. Once this process is complete the investment status of the Palmerston North Fire Station will be known.
