Hon Todd McClay: I took two papers to the Cabinet Appointments and Honours (APH) Committee that included an exception to the Fees Framework: - The Agricultural and Marketing Research and Development Trust: Appointment (September 2024); and - Kiwifruit New Zealand Board: Appointment of Chair (October 2024). For the appointment to the Agricultural and Marketing Research and Development Trust, there is a standing exception granted by the then Minister for the Public Service and agreed by APH in 2022. For the appointment to the Kiwifruit New Zealand Board, the exception for daily fees for the Board Chair and members was approved by the then Minister of State Services and agreed by APH in 2017.
