42381 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: What conflicts of interest, if any, did William Fussey, Alyn Higgins, Robert Davies and Simon Greening declare as appointments to the Employment Relations Authority?

Hon Brooke van Velden: Robert Davies and Simon Greening have no declared conflicts of interest relating to their role as Member of the Authority. Alyn Higgins has declared he is a faculty Member at the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand. William Fussey is a Member of the Employment Law Committee for the Auckland District Law Society, a Member of the Canterbury Westland Employment Law Committee and a Member of the Privacy Foundation, Privacy in Employment Working Group. Additionally, Willliam is a Board Member of the Christchurch School of Gymnastics. Both Alyn and William will resign from all positions mentioned (except for the Christchurch School of Gymnastics role) prior to commencing as a Member of the Authority.
