42368 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many patients have been assessed by digital health consult (i.e. remote or telehealth) at Kaitāia Hospital since 1 April 2025, broken down by month?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that, following Health New Zealand's signing of a formal contract with a digital health provider in May 2025 to deliver clinical support across various service settings in Northland hospitals, a number of patients have been assessed by digital health consult at Kaitāia Hospital since 1 April 2025, as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring that all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare. • April 2025 – 177 • May 2025 – 242 • June 2025 – 296 • July 2025 – 211 I am advised that digital health has progressively been implemented in New Zealand for some time - I refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 22847 (2025).
