42348 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many employees, if any, are set to lose their roles have a focus on working with Pāsefika, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 40464 (2024). I am advised by Health New Zealand that one employee in a role that was disestablished worked within Pacific Health. I am advised that there can be a period of months between the decision to disestablish roles and redundancies. I am further advised that disestablishment of roles was underway prior to 27 November 2024.
