42264 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Customs: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies, if any, how many employees, if any, are set to lose their roles and are women, between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that these decisions are the responsibility of the Comptroller of the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs). I am advised that between 27 November 2023 and 10 July 2024, 57 staff at Customs have accepted redundancy, voluntary redundancy or enhanced early retirement as a result of organisational changes. Of these 57 staff members, 24 are women.
