42234 (2025). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What was the monthly churn of prisoners at Mt Eden Corrections Facility as at 31 July 2025, broken down by receptions and exits?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Mt Eden Corrections Facility is a remand prison, and therefore has a high turnover of prisoners, with many prisoners spending a short period of time there. I am further advised that during the month of July 2025, there were 652 receptions and 676 exits at Mt Eden Corrections Facility.
